Thank you Ted! Most of the mud is on my trail shoes or at least on the floor of the cupboard where they are stored anyway Fleecy! 1900 miles on one pair Chris??? I'm glad I'm not your knees. Either that or you are a Flyweight. 6'2" and 85Kg gives mine far too much wear and tear to go much beyond about 500 miles, although they do get recycled to be gardening/ kicking about shoes. |

I'm 6'2 and 80 kg, but not a heel striker. The tiny patterns on the heels are still not worn away, but you can see I push off with my right foot, which is a bad thing for my calves. You surely don't imagine that 1/2" of plastic can protect your knees from having 85kg dumped on each of them at speed 2-3 times a second. |
