Day 4 done. However Son 1 has developed a cough and has a covid test tomorrow morning, so unless he gets a negative result before tomorrow evening I'll still be isolating so out for this month

Oh no TR!!! Fingers crossed for your son, you and your whole family - hope it's just a normal winter cough and he gets a negative result.
Imperial day 4 also done for me.

Test has just come back negative - good news, but I'm out of RtS for this month not having been able to run yesterday due to isolating

Good news on the result but a pity it meant you lost a day.
It’s been quite heavy frost here so I’m glad I never even said I would try this month

Remind me not to do this challenge again until the weather's better Getting v. fed up with trudging round under steel grey skies.
Still, just a 1k-er to look forward to tomorrow

Sorry... missed your good news on Wednesday, TR - that's a relief!
Day 9 of imperial RtS done for me. Weirdly, 7 miles felt like a slog, a very late 8 felt OK yesterday, and 9 miles today felt great... really strong and absolutely loved it! Ready for a cut-back tomorrow though.

My Garmin was playing silly buggers this morning - I think the lap function had got screwed up - lucky it's just 2km, I'd have wept if it had apparently 'lost' more !
