Great game v Canada.

Amazing news for Smith, still looks about 8 years old!

Agree about Smith I think he will do well against the Saffies, been watching him on TV for a few years, he has a sharp rugby brain

Problem is though he's going to have massive blokes trying to flatten him all match long.

He'll just sprint between their ankles faster than they can get to him...
I can't be the only non-Quins-fan who's been finding him a very annoying opponent - I'm quite looking forward to being able to support him annoying "my" opponents for a change!

Lol, I second that, wish we had been able to lure him instead of Cipirani.

Can he be the next genuinely great English ten?

If he can avoid Cips' issues of getting broken by bigger boys and passing buses...

Marcus Smith is a good call by Gatland (and shows he's not completely Wales biased). He will fit in the gap Finn Russell leaves. He's a bit like Jonathan Davies (JD1) in being able to elude tackles and he'll need to be that little bit quicker on the international stage. I don't think his performances against USA or Canada can prove that yet, let's see how he does in SA.

Looks like he’s already been coached by Eddie not to do the goose step when taking it to the line

I'm not sure what TMW meant there and he has now unfortunately left.

I see AWJ is on his way back to the Lions, I can't see his recently dislocated shoulder lasting against the Springboks if he does play.
