OK a bit of reading between the lines - Why was it "unfortunate" they showed no interest in Pose, since by your admission they have achieved what the Pose Method "tries" to achieve by a different route.
Did you take the opportunity to question the approach that got them to their current standard and would you be willing to share it.

FFS mjb just leave me alone will you - you have absolutely no idea what I was thinking or what I asked that person or the situation we were in. But it does not stop you from making your assumptions known. How do you know it was not at my kids sports day and it was unfortuate because they beat me in the three legged race
Take a day off from being an arse

MJB - interestingly - there ARE people who actually run skilfully all by themselves without input from anyone.

ElBee, I know there are. Equally there are people who run well following the Pose, Chi, Sinatra or a host of other approaches. The end game is "running well" the way to get there is down to the individual.

HOD a good way of perceiving the right amount of "bend" or in your knees is to skip / bounce on the spot, try first with just a slight softness in the knee, then big bent knees, differentiate the height that you skip/ bounce from and notice how much you need to bend your knees...the greater the height you are coming down from the greater the bend reqd in the knee to absorb ground reaction force...when you are running pose you will notice that you don;t see your head "bouncing" up and down in the video...because you are focussing on the horizontal not the vertical, therefore you only need slightly bent or soft knees and ankles rather than a big bend that you may need for say jumping from height...
sits rubbing knees that have suffered after friend got her confidence and insisted on going through mogul fields like mini mountains in a "flat" light due to the sh*t loads of snow that is coming down here feeling a bit inadequate being surrounded by paralympic athletes on the slopes getting their final bits of training in..truly inspirational:-)
