I had snakes head Frits on boggy clay lawn, and they did really well. I’d scatter the seeds, once they were dry…and we ended up with a nice mix of shades of pink/ purple. The white ones were less keen to multiple..but they still did increase.

I think that was ten years after planting 20 mixed bulbs.

(That yellow forsythia always bugged me next to the pinks and purples)

Pure loosestrife has been flowering for many months already as has have the swamp forgetmenots. Mind, I have them in a sunny spot...

I should add that the tulips are going into pots, not into the swamp. I don't think the soil layer anywhere in the garden is deep enough for tulips.

Runnyeyes, that's amazing. I'd love it if mine did that.
