Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I hear this injury thing with Pose a lot

Pose method does mean you'll be shifting load from your knees (assuming you run badly) to your calf/achilles, so for many it will cause soreness at first. That's where the load is meant to be in order to use our body's natural shock absorption and 'spring'

The main problem I see is that many think of pose as a 'style' of running or it's specifically about running on your toes or forefoot etc. it's not, of course. Runners try to 'actively land' -basically plantar flex their foot to ensure their forefoot touches first. The problem with this of course is that they're probably still landing too far ahead, and with a tense calf.

SSLHP. - There is an almost religious bias against Pose Method here. Take it on if you will, but you will be wasting your time!
HOD - you are only interested in HODRunning.

And please do me the courtesy of making no assumptions as to why *I* can no longer run, but am quietly training folk who are<> interested
