Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Had a turnout today, race 5 of 2024.

Will try out a blog when I get the chance and keep these races separate for future digging out! I assume I can then put the link in here but will see later

One can make blogs, the whole blog or just selected entries, buddies only if you so wish. And you can control who can see what of your training entries using the buddies list.

If you add someone as a buddy and have them access to "buddies only" bits and bobs then you are NOT automatically THEIR buddy with access to their bits and bobs. Control of access to buddies only bits and bobs rests with the owner.

One can even keep some bits and bobs private.

:-)

If you go to your profile page and click "account settings" and select "sharing" in the drop down menu you can control access to your training log.

You can also "follow" people and be followed, independent of the buddy system. If you follow someone you will get a notification when they log training or write a blog. You can control what aspects of your training and blog people will get a notification for. I think you can select to just follow someone's training and not blog or vice versa but I'm less sure on that.

You can share blog links onto threads.

Only registered Fetchies can read blogs. Anyone can read threads.

About This Thread

Maintained by stevieg
Hi there - this thread started in 2010 over on RW and started as an improvement thread for myself under Moraghan's coaching, through to more of a general collaboration tool and place to share training and long winded race reports.

Thanks to the fetch community for allowing us to move over, and we'd welcome loads of new contributors adding to the thread, as we were definitely running on empty with a small bunch of posters near the end!
