Colin and Erin did some weird dance with mannequins. Sorry Erin but that cost Colin the win. At least the public didn't start to vote until after the show dance rather than the first dance which we have already seen. Chris did an enjoyable Charleston with Ola but he was certainly second best to Ricky. I think the last poor decision I remember was Will Mellor losing the semi-final dance-off to Fleur East. Fleur was excellent but Will was better and got robbed - and Nancy knew it. The fix claims are utter nonsense - usually about BBC bias favouring their employees. I can't say that I recall anything remotely suspicious. Come the final, I would like to see the best four couples, no couples' choice routines and the vote only opening after all 12 dances. |

I’ve had very similar thoughts to @paul the builder about the success of black female celebrities on this show. I thought that Montell would get an easier run, with her being a good dancer AND being paired with Johannes who I know is incredibly popular. It’s certainly not the first time that one of the weaker dancers has been the favourite. |

Alesha Dixon won her series. That was a long time ago though. I'm a bit sad Montell isn't getting the support - she's one of my favourites. I know it's the way Strictly is but I hate seeing her and Johannes in the dance-off week after week when they clearly don't deserve to be there. |

I agree @sparklecloud it must be tough being a good dancer, which I think Montell is, but not getting the public vote behind you, and being in the dance off week after week. I think Chris is an amazing individual but he’s not a great dancer and this week was particularly bad. To my mind it should have been Chris and Pete in the dance off.

It's musicals week. A bit like movies week really as there seems to be an overlap. That also means the return of the backing dancers albeit with less floor space.

It's a brave woman who can do that - respect.

Shirley has actually gone up in my estimation for being Miss Trunchbull when next to her Motsi is a Dream Girl. I think I'd have been too vain! Did Johannes just say that Montell 'has no ligaments in her ankles'? Really? |
