Aljaz looked absolutely finished by the end of the show.

I think there were a couple of tied positions after the samba-thon. That usually helps those towards the bottom of the leaderboard; i.e. Pete.

I know he and Diane are amazing etc, it's brilliant they've got this far and Di's parents could be there etc, and Chris will win the final DEFFO ... but I thought that paso was fairly dreadful. His upper body was all wrong. Has he got a short neck or something?

Tash is always flawless, graceful, gorgeous and delightful... but a bit of a ringer.

The Charleston was fab, nicely trad and joyful - the right music doesn't half help.

I voted one for Sarah even though I felt the rumba was a bit too attacky, one for Montell vos that was a fab quickstep and beautifully choreographed (again good music choice)

And one to Someone Else though he'll surely go this week.

I said that Jamie would k/o Pete otherwise he'd be the one to go. Dance-off was superb and I couldn't call it. Montell didn't deserve to be in the dance-off. I just can't see why the public aren't supporting her. Jamie's last two dances have been a bit ordinary and it was only a matter of time. I wish I could say the same of Pete but he'll be back next Saturday.

Did the Sugababes sound a bit off throughout their performance? Siobhan seemed very flat.

Quite often over the years slebs who the public believe are ringers don’t get the public support of entertainers, plucky triers, or handicapped in some way contestants. Look back over the years and you see it again and again.

Poor Alexandra Burke was a notable case - in the dance off at least twice in spite of being. Easily the best dancer in the comp. She got to the four dancer final won by the least good of the four - actor Joe McFadden
