Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Hi Mick and welcome to Fetch!

Sounds like a good run for you today :-)

Managed to find the only 40mins this morning when it wasn't raining to do my run and it felt really good. Took a good 3-4mins off my best time for a local 4 mile loop so was really motoring (although it has been a month or two since I last ran it).

Also felt even better NOT running the Skiddaw Fell race today as everyone looked well knackered\soaked\bleeding at the finish even though most said they'd really enjoyed it (with the possible exception of the poor sod who fell and dislocated his shoulder and got rushed to hospital, ouch!!!).

Hullo Mick!!

For me - 11 miles today, along The Worth Way, wonderful route, fully recommend it to any Sussex Fetchies. Got rained on for the first 2 miles but then it cleared up and the sun came out, rest of the way was pleasant and comfortable.....woo!!

No run for me today. No run for me for another 2 weeks at Elmbridge 10K. Dodgy groin at the moment so I'm only doing races at the moment with no training in between. If it reacts again after Elmbridge I'm going to see a specialist as I can't go on without regular running much longer.

Fantastic race today - Skiddaw fell race - one of my key races for the year. Felt really good and finished quicker than expected. The forecast was awful but we only got a bit of on/off drizzle which was nice and cool, it wasn't even cold on the top. Back to training for an autumn half marathon tomorrow though.

Only 2 downsides today: Judderman ran an old favourite loop faster than I've ever run it - so now I've got to prove I can still beat him... and also fell in the race - skidded on the descent.
