Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Alas, JB, my mileage may be on Page 1 but the rankings tell an entirely different story!

Easy 6 miles. Soggy. Legs were not playing ball, especially through the mud. Rain wasn't too bad until last half a mile - attacked by 'Big Fat Rain' and got suitably blinded and soaked.

GREAT FUN!!! :) :)

Well wasn't overly surprised with my time today - 25.02 which puts me back to where I was last May. Was really happy with pace for the first 4k but couldn't sustain it over the last k. Mile splits (cos that's what garmin is set for) were 7.56, 7.42 and 8.27. If the k markers were correct (which I'm not entirely sure about) I went thro' the first k in 3.15.

A more evenly paced run might have resulted in a better time but the key today was just to go with the flow and see how I felt. I know I can knock out fast miles - just need to connect a few together now.

Remarkably well - considering I had 3 blisters from last night in sandals. I don't care what anyone says, pop the blisters, put on plasters and you'll be as happy as a clam...! Works every time!

First run after 9 days off with a horrible nasty cold. Eyeballs being pushed out by sinuses etc. Decided to run today anyway, despite feeling rotten. Now feel great! Feel better physically, waaay better mentally. I've missed running, especially reading about it on here. Oh, and it rained, but don't care.
