Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Smashing little run around the Geat Orme - dry, no wind, hardly anyone about - peace and quiet with views of the Little Orme/Llandudno looking back and cracking view of the Conwy esturary and the hills above Penmaenmawr on the way round.

Really good run. First outside run I have done for a couple of weeks (number of reasons for this), and I got 6 miles in, which is good.

Running by the Thames is beautiful in the sun :-)

Here's my route:

That's a good run too. I know that lot rather well. Shame about what's on your left at 4.5m, but never mind ;-)

was i the only one slipping about like bambi on ice? the footpaths still havent thawed out here, i had intended a 4 mile tempo run but cut that bit down to approx 3 miles off road as i figured if i fell i would have a soft landing.

BB - that's the highlight of the run!! Aren't you a cockney red? You should like the place, you always seem to get 3 points there!

FFFFFF-Freezing. Fog and "mock snow" on the trees. Quite unusual weather really. Did 8 miles out & back on an old railway line converted to cycle path near home. I actually met not one but two runners! a real rarity around here. Wore gloves and hat and still finished with freezing fingers. The dog's nose was covered in frost too and he looked just a little more ridiculous than me. Roll on the spring!

I guess I am a cockney Red.... although family's all from Lancs. (partial excuse!)

We may have 3 points the last two visits, but I vividly remember Papa Bouba Diop's screamer Xmas 04. I was in the Putney end and had a rather good view as it bent viciously in the top corner!
