Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

How was your run today?

TMW - PBs unlikely, I'm still not back to full fitness after India. Endurance seems fine (obviously!) but I haven't done the speed work to get good times for the rest of 2006. My HM and mara PBs were done off the back of twice a week intervals/tempos - basic speed is my weakness and I need to work on it a lot more than the long stuff, which comes naturally. All this is just base building for 2007...

Su2 - I'm hoping to see Muse in London in 9 days time, if I can convince a good mate to give me his spare ticket and sort out the logistics of getting there and back midweek...

Stow Scenic 7 was excellent today - good support from Red Tomato & Old Biddy and I got a new PB :-)

Well done to all those who entered - it seemed a much larger field than last year.

Absolutely spanking. Best fun ever:) Did the Hellrunner today someone said it was 11.5 miles but don't know for sure. All I know is it was fun!!! Forget it if you want a PB there were bottle necks at each of the bogs (thats real bogs not toilets) stood waist deep in thick mud for about 10 min see pic.

Will be doing it again next year I just wish I'd thought of entering Grim8 now.

Went with club from East Croydon to Coulsdon South by train and ran back across the downs. Total distance for me today 20miles. Very nice scenery and a few hills too!
