Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Gooner - it's not even like its a big scary wood or anything. A mile and a half loop tops in the middle of SE London. I started thinking about cycling, next thing I know there are unfamiliar trees and the woods smell of barbecue sauce.

It also meant I had to run back up "Rock Hill" - the 100% incline hill I use for hill repeats.

Ouch! You should have just followed the smell of bbq sauce in stead ;)

I've just realised what that buzzing in my calves is. It's the stinging nettles which lovingly caressed my legs as I went past...

Yes, trails in the forest have lots of fallen branches that attack you as you jump over them, must lean to jump higher.
Oh, forgot to mention the 5 deer and 1 small fawn !

Oh yes. And the faint aroma of cow dung, plastered up the backs of my legs. Mmmmm.
