Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Club run in forest, some new trails for me. 9.5 miles and found it tough from start, could not keep a good pace going, felt better towards end. Saw several groups of deer, of large group of about 20 fallow deer with 2 white ones amazing sight, made up for feeling like shite for most of the run. Good thing was that although I found it hard and felt lke shite I finished the full run and was not last.

Albert parkrun, Middlesbrough. Classic Victorian park surroundings. Muslims, "let" women wear tracksuits ffs. They looked uncomfortable in all those layers (they weren't parkrunning, just out running at the same time). My legs felt stiff but in perfect weather a pb was possible... Didn't get it though! Another guy kept overtaking me then losing it again. But he left me behind in a fast finish. Rob's legs just weren't talking business - but any sub 19 is fine.

An even-more-gruelling-than-expected 10km "Kenilworth Killer" - ouch.

I loved it really though.

Great run today along some of the canal and river. Felt really strong today as I started to get a bit scared thinking of the 20 mile bit of the Classic Quarter Cornwall coming in June. The 'will I be ready, strong enough, can I really do it?' thats all I ave been thinking. Today I felt really good and relaxed and in control and felt more positive about my 20, just need to do more longer runs now. The world was very fragrant this morning all the trees and plants, grasses were very pongy, some rather nice others a bit sickly, but lovely nonetheless. I am a happy girlie today :)

A slightly unplanned 13.4 mile run. Was going to do 12 but took the wrong route at the start giving me an extra mile to run. Oops!

aaa 10k obstacle course just north of Derby. Brilliant fun ran it with my brother which made it all the better. Crossing the river Derwent twice was interesting, extremely cold, took your breath away.

Lots of other idiots having fun, and smiling throught the pain.

Now have to cook Sunday roast, think I'll have extra roasties as I have earnt them
