10 miles. First half deliberately fast. 2nd half reigning it back to 10m/m pace to simulate tired legs for the upcoming marathon. 1st half consequently horrible. 2nd half lovely!

Hard and horrible had a twinge in my back near the left shoulder blade 3 miles out walked for a bit then managed to control the pain enough to run home slowly
painkillers ,coffee and a hot bath should make me feel better

Belvoir Half
Personal Best - My first sub 2 hour half so feeling pretty happy, can now join in with the tapering madness.

Kingston Breakfast run. Managed to run non stop (not one single walking break) for the full 16 miles. Longest I have ever run in one go - and 12 minutes faster than the 16 miles I did last weekend in training.
Am well chuffed. Bring on VLM!

Did a 5k today and managed to run the whole distance with no walking breaks. First time!
I was on a treadmill and going at a slower pace than my regular, but still an achievement!
