An "after work" 10k (should be doing more than that 9 weeks pre-half-marathon I think but hey ho, more than that after a shift is tough for me, I just am shattered)...almost fell over, saved only by my ninja-like reflexes Slightly tweaked right ankle and left knee thanks to the jolt but OK I think. Nice and cold and sunny though, one of those "really dind't want to go but glad I did" runs.

A rather lovely 14 miler that turned into a 15.5 miler. I felt good, I forgot to take my gels, which meant I did 15.5 milrs on one gel. Not clever Maxulla. Still it's the longest I've ever run on my own, I really enjoyed it. I am feeling good abour Edinburgh.

A nice simple plod for six miles. Then, when I arrived I realised that my nice simple plod for six miles would have taken me 20 minutes longer nine months ago and would have been my LSR for the week instead of a simple little run for the fun of it!

Lovely weather for running. 12.37 miles which is long for me.
After 10 miles whilst running along a path next to the A12 - a policemen (dad of a girl at my son's old nursery) clocked me at 7mph on his speed gun !

Lovely. The sun was beginning to come out and just a slight breeze to contend with.
