No stopping you, Dunc :)

An hour of trail & beach around Waterloo & Crosby tonight. Saw MSC Virtuosa [over 181 000 gross tonnes] heading into Liverpool Bay bound for Greenock. 16 decks, 1700 crew, over 6300 passengers. The sheer size is breathtaking!

Great work Dunc.

Fantastic photo Swittle.
15 degrees, broken cloud and sunshine this morning. 6 mile trot over the golf course, past Thornes Flood Lock and a lap of the Calder Wetlands. Some brave soul was swimming in one of the lagoons at 06:30 when I passed!

Nice running all and well done Dunc

Been in a bit of a 5K pattern lately due to heat and lack of time so managed to convince myself during the run this morning to do 4 miles. Still warm but a nice breeze was present.

^ [Blizzard - not mine, let me hasten to say - straight from the wikipedia pg. for the ship. Jono's not a fan of these multi-decked creations - and, as a mariner, he should know! However, it's the scale of the engineering and the 'presence' of the vessel dominating the horizon as it sails at a stately 6 knots away froim Liverpool that moves me.]

Got something to say?
