IRL i expect to be at CP3 (kessock bridge) on 9th May.....current prediction has be getting there on 12th May.

I hauled myself out for a walk as Darwin had overtaken me while I had a week off work - however I was enjoying my music so much I missed a vital turn and a 6 mile walk turned into a 12 mile one...

But at least I'm back ahead of that dragon :)

Virtually I'm 5 miles from home after a day on very familiar roads and tracks. In reality I'm at the other end of the country.

He was a very well respected Audax rider who faced terminal cancer at the age of 56. "...in April 1983 he decided to climb Ventoux one last time. And there, near the top, where the road ran into a snowdrift, he got off his bike, sat down and let the cold take him away. They found him later, buried under a metre of snow."
