Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'm totally utterly useless at decluttering. Utterly totally completely useless. I need help. :)

May I suggest paying someone to do it? Worked for me, I must book her again soon.
I've got a big bag of clothes collecting, went through all ds2's clothes quite ruthlessly and chucked a couple of dh's work shirts which have gone crusty round the armpits. I must work out how to get him to agree to chucking out more stuff...

I think I pay about £100 for 4 hours including her taking stuff to the charity shop, but if you find anything worth selling you might make some of that back, I have :)

I found mine from here, then chose someone I like the sound of. I imagine it's a difficult job!

Funny MM I was just thinking about getting stuck into the airing cupboard next. I was put off by trying to decide what to do with the stuff I don't want/need- doesn't take much to talk myself out of it!!

M4P, do you need to declutter? Three small children usually = loads and loads of stuff that you actually need, or at least are better off with than without.

V'rap that's very helpful, but what good are earplugs that fit on headphones I no longer have. I did consider dumping some stuff on Edith (not literally) but I'd just be moving the problem! And while I'm very good at crafting yarn that's tangled beyond recognition needs to go.

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
