Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I agree Columba. Thanks for the suggestion bebop. It isn't a huge diamond! I have a friend who does jewellery so I will ask her to see if it can be replaced as they are quite tasteful Christmas earrings which is what attracted me to them in the first place :-)

Some very satisfactory decluttering accomplished. It was only 2 items of mending (clothes) butt both were complicated and fiddly and I wasn't at all sure I'd be able to do them successfully, so they'd been cluttering one end of the sofa in the spare room for months, together with sewing box.

Now all decluttered, and I have 2 wearable garments returned to wardrobe.

OK. I did at least have a normalisation of the sports kit.

I suspect this has probably been discussed earlier, but I'm too lazy to wade through nearly 70 pages to find the answer, but I have now got some PGCE and teaching books together and want to sell them. The first site that comes up on Google is webuybooks.co.uk - has anyone used them? Is there a better option or are they all pretty much the same?

I've sold my 2 items on eBay, £20 in my account thank you very much 🙌

I haven't used any of the book sites, can you get access to any reviews about the sites or even compare what price your books would fetch on each one?

I've compared prices and although webuybooks isn't quite as generous as fatbrain, they will take more of the books. As decluttering is the aim, not making a fortune (if only) I'll go with webuybooks.

".... This month, each of you must get rid of one thing on the first day. On the second, two things. Three items on the third. So forth, and so on. Anything can go! Clothes, furniture, electronics, tools, decorations, etc. Donate, sell, or trash. Whatever you do, each material possession must be out of your house—and out of your life—by midnight each day."
