Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

RR, excellent. It is very nice, as you say! We are here tonight and then moving onto a different NT place near to Stormont tomorrow as it’s Belfast marathon on Sunday, which starts from Stormont.

Lovely!
We’ve left the west coast of Scotland and have headed inland to Killin. We are staying on a cheap(ish) CMC site in the hills. In the first hour of being here we’ve heard a cuckoo and seen a deer 🦌. Apparently red squirrels are often seen here too.
It’s very peaceful and steep hilly!

That looks lovely GM. I'd love to see red squirrels (have seen them on Brownsea Island).

We’ve moved to North Berwick and have ended up on exactly the type of site we hate.

Children cycling and dogs (off lead) running between pitches. Adults sitting drinking in a large group round smoking fire pits then notice their dogs and children have wandered off, so they start shouting their names loudly and repeatedly until their errant dog / child eventually returns to them. Then they loudly chastise them.

(I wish Rocca would bliddy well come back. Dad’s called her at least 15 times from just outside our van).
I’m hoping that they move on tomorrow as the children will be back at school on Tuesday presumably.

This was a spur of the moment booking to extend our trip and was a site that was recommended to us. I’m sure it will be fine tomorrow. It’s been quiet since 9pm so I can’t complain really 😁
