Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've been going ok.

The average pace of my easy runs over 6 weeks has been, most recent last:

11:44
10:30
10:13
10:13
9:55
11:16

in the 9:55 week, some of those were 9:30 pace.

I struggled with 2hours 30, so stayed at 2:30 the following week then I did 3 hours yesterday. Up until today, my runs the day after my long run have been fine, then I end up with a piece of shite like today :-(

I think I agree with Johnny on the aerobic base. I could well be being hasty. I was improving but then to go so far backwards is pretty sickening.

James, virtually all my fast 5k times have occurred two weeks after an Ultra. Going long is good.
