I’m considering going for the Apex pro based on battery life and future races. Just wondering where is the best place to go for the best price, over to you fetch?

Well there was Christmas magic and lucky me is now in possession of a Apex Pro 😀 It came with 55% charge and took just an hour to fill it up to 100%. I’m working my way around it for now and so if I have any questions after I’ll post here . So far I’m wry impressed 👏👏👏

When I get ready for a general run and satellites have acquired it says that I’m on intervals ? Now I don’t mind doing those , but not every day! I’ve looked everywhere to see how to change this but not discovered the nook or cranny in the menus where it can be changed. Answers please 🙂

The first menu under «run» is a list of three: start, basic intervals, and settings. Maybe you just need to scroll the crown wheel to «start». Or maybe you have accidentally programmed an interval session for today - just guessing.

Not at all, it takes time you get used to a new gadget. Even if it is simple, it is simple in its own way.

I’m finding most of the features very logical and common sense , well to me anyway. I’m left handed and have always worn watches on my right wrist , so when I saw that Coros had thought and made accommodations for this it was the deal clincher. ( although I’ve never looked or noticed if other manufacturers do this) Even removing the straps has been designed to be easy with the sprung pin having a spigot slightly protruding so that you can use a finger nail to spring it back to release and refit the wraps the opposite way around, not to mention the face and button being swappable. Also noticed it charges very quickly and uploads activity automatically and rapidly to the app. It’s great designing 🙂

My Apex 46 is dead 😱😢. Luckily I kept my Suunto as a backup 😮💨.
Sunday night battery was about 46%. Woke in the night and tried to check time, battery 1%!! Put by it on charge and was at 100% by the time we got up. However dropped rapidly during the day and was 1% by tea time. Had tried off/on etc. during the day.
Now won’t charge past 5%.
Had rapid response from COROS support and apparently there’s a partial recall on the Apex 46. Looks like a warranty exchange, just awaiting next support email.
