Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

C Block - there's no place like it.

We had a Myers-Briggs style online exercise to do the other week and a follow up afternoon in-person workshop to go through and discuss our personality types. I was a mixture of 'blue' and 'green' online but more 'blue' and 'yellow' with some 'green' at the face to face sessions.

I ought to blog about it. But it may make me grit my teeth too much.

I told my youngest about it. He siad his girlfriend did the same exercise at her former employer then changed jobs and ... had to do it again at her new job within a month of starting.

Did you show them the short form quick one? (from page 992)

Was it the thinking hats thing? I thought that, and Edward de Bono, were thoroughly debunked some years ago. Or have I got my grey hat on?*

Mind you, I used to use the Serengeti one as an ice breaker opener at workshops, so I can talk the b****cks as well as most.

*Grey - white & black? Look it up ;-)

It was lots of often contradictory statements - you have to say which you're most like and which you're least like. 'Confident and vulnerable', 'driven and accepting', 'ambitious and shy'. They were always in pairs and often unconnected. Based on Carl Jung's theories apparently.

Happy Friday.

Would anyone like two free tickets to the cat cafe in Sudbury?

I have two tickets for 9.15 tomorrow morning at Finnegan's Whiskers. We can't go as our car is dead and the tickets can't now be cancelled. Free to a good home.
