Garfield - so true! And buses. To be fair, I've been much less vigilant about antiseptic hand gel this taper than I usually am. Serves me right!
Stay healthy, everyone! Forecast now has a heatwave coming as the jet stream is moving back to its normal position.

Don't worry - the heatwave will be further north. We've trained through gales, hail, sleet and snow. Running karma will guarantee us a good day: Brighton will have perfect racing weather.

I stocked up on hand gel today, and I'm mainlining first defence as everyone seems to have a cold at work - I'm hoping it's what I had over Easter.

I spent my entire run tonight checking over my shoulder and making sure I wasn't going to get mowed down by a car mounting the pavement. That would be tragic.:-0

Ha! Bloody silly Tudor. He couldn't run a marathon in those tights.
How was that?
Oh. Sorry. Architectural style rather than an instruction. I see.

Weather check. (again)
During the race 10 degrees and wind 17mph.
Thats not bad, not a heat wave and unless the wind gets up to 25+ not that bad at all, cooling even?
Could be alot worse that.
Think for me, my slight head ache, runny nose and throat, extreme sleepyness are taper madness!
