oprah
I've developed lady flu. Yesterday had fever. Today's it's subsided, but I feel unwell. Sneezing seems to have tailed off, but I have an underlying cough thing that is very strange. I don't actively have to cough, but if I do try to cough, it sounds awful and makes my voice squeak.
When the forecast was for 45 mph winds, I was thinking this might have been good luck, but last I checked it's supposed to be nice and sunny, so I am holding out hope that I'll get better.
I suppose if you are going to run marathons regularly, this is bound to happen, but after training through this winter I feel I am owed that stupid medal!

I'd be very careful if I were you. Fever takes a lot out of you.

Seems a few of us have the lurgy, how much lemsip can you have a day? I like others have spent months training in the rain for this, hope we are all fit for it

It seems as though everyone in my office has the flu! I keep volunteering to go and do all the onsite jobs away from them and so far I've been lucky and not picked anything up!
Really feel sorry for people who are suffering now after putting in all that training

Trying to avoid any lurgy...I still say they should have quarantine train cars for the sickies to cough and sneeze all over each other instead of making us healthy people ill.

My number is 18373 and I don't have a Fetch vest - any cheers from the Fetchpoint would be very welcome. I may well have "Fravage" on my vest if that helps!!
Bored of tapering - running 3 miles almost seems like a waste of time!!

Still recovering from cramped calf muscles following the Sussex Marathon on Sunday. Well done, Kaz - you had a decent run! I did the first lap in 1:58 before it went belly-up! I've had my massage, stretching, cold/hot treatment. Hoping to go out and enjoy the Brighton Marathon and not just 'get around.'
