Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Another that didnt get in here as well would have liked to have ran London and Berlin in the same year but maybe I should either go back to the site of my first marathon a few years ago in Dublin or have another crack at Chester next year...good luck to those who missed out on the 12th

Hello Laura L! Hello everyone else! I was fortunate enough to get a place in the ballot and am really excited for it. It's going to be a tough year of running next year though as me and Laura are also doing the Brighton marathon. I think we'll be able to pass the 1000mile mark for 2014 assuming we manage to stay injury free.

Make sure you run it quickly or you might not get a medal - I am still waiting for my medal depsite finishing within their advertised cut off time. Not happy. But otherwise a great race and congrats to those who have got in this year.

Just going through the registration process. Bloody hell, this is an expensive marathon! €98 entry fee, which doesn't include a t-shirt (another €25-€30), plus €6 to rent a timing chip.

Garfield - yes, Nice to Cannes is November, just did it last Sunday - my third time. Love it there, as a weekend destination and as a marathon venue.
