Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I’d love a tri I could cycle to, my biggest issue is transporting my bike as it doesn’t fit in the car

I will have to get the bike to the accommodation the night before but that is a justifiable car journey. I don't consider a mile or so really justifiable for driving unless critical.

As it's a pool swim, i assume you won't be wearing a wet suit, so it should be doable by bike, how exciting, hope the training goes well, don't forget to practice running straight after riding!!

I'm assuming you don't have to rack your bike the day before? (The only time I've had to do that was at my first, which was an OW one.) Be worth checking though.

Thanks LD I will check that. I suspect there may be an option to do that as registration is the day before as well as from (I think) 6am on the day but hopefully it's not compulsory. As I am at a family event the day before then driving to where we will be staying (which is a two hour drive from home) I think it's unlikely that I'll make the registration cut off on the Saturday. And if I do have to rack my bike the day before and before say 5pm I won't be taking part as the family event is non-negotiable.

I'm sure that Cambridge Tri does beginner events at Milton.
