Annual Step Count Target!

We have the “how did you get your step count target” thread fetcheveryone.com/forum/today-i-reached-my-step-goal-whilst-61646/33 but this is an annual target! Following someone’s comment on Facebook I was surprised to see I was over 5 million (my highest) for a rolling 12 months. Which made me think I’m going to give myself an annual target! So in 2025 I’m aiming for 6 million steps 😮 Anyone else? |

Why not. A couple of years ago I did over 10 million, I'd challenged myself to do at least 24,000 steps every day. It is a good way to keep motivated.

Oh, this sounds like something I should get in on, albeit with a far less lofty goal  Think I'll start by aiming for 3,500,000 - not hit over 3M since 2018 so will need to make some changes.

I only really wear my Garmin when I'm running, so I don't count steps. Good luck to everyone with a goal though!

Had to go and see what mine is. It’s 6,041,366 so far this year so might aim for 7 million next year if I can stay injury free. |

I have had years where I was getting over 6.5 million steps a year - think I was doing an average of 18,500 steps a day or so. Haven't been managing that many this year - think I'm up to a bit over 5 million so far. Maybe I should target 6 million next year. |

@Jaks Similar 6,041,791 ytd was also thinking 7 million next year. Helps with being on feet all the time at work |
