Nice bit of variety (weirdness?) this afternoon. 2-4-6 etc reps up to 20 of deadlift and press ups. 110 reps of each. Target for the day hit. A little bit short for the week I think.

Went away on my hols fully intending to carry on the regime. But just find that I can't.
I like my routine, and that means doing my exercises at home in my "Gym". Doesn't seem to happen elsewhere.

On holiday and out of the routine, you say ... I'd keep an eye on your rear view mirror if I were you :-)

Best make the most of it M, cos I'm home again on Saturday. Get well in front, cos you're gonna need to. :-)

All pressups are good but out of interest, what are people regarding as pressups? There are some pretty extreme technique vids on YouTube but for me, straight-ish back and arms down to 90 degrees and back up qualifies.

I’m incorporating some sets using a board which targets different parts of the upper body. The hardest atm for me is with both hands together, 10 reps is my max currently.

Muttley i try to mix it up a bit.
Fast and hard and many reps, slow and very strict and many sets, different positions of my hands, feets high up, feets lower down and so on and so on.

Anything that even resembles a press up, if that's your personal choice.

I've had shoulder problems in the past, and some types of press-up puts more strain on the shoulders than others.

So, I think the answer is "Whatever you think constitutes a press-up constitutes a press-up"

That is indeed my view, Dave W. Just curious as to what others are doing.

I also do as Bowman - sometimes get down and do them fast and dirty, sometimes slow and with more of an eye to doing them "properly".

I'm certainly not going to disparage anyone else's pressups!
