4K a day is an enormous amount, as you say Nellers, but at the time Paddy Doyle was breaking all kinds of endurance records. He did 1700 in an hour a few years before the year long record, so it may have taken taken him as little as 3 or 4 hours a day. Which, granted, is still a long time but if he broke it down & did them in sets over a day would have made things easier. That’s all pure supposition on my part though & could well be absolute rubbish.

While I do tip my hat to folk who do these things like millions of pressups, or spend hours planking, or run dozens of marathons end to end, I also wonder -- but why, what is the point?
