Is anyone following the attempt at Monza tomorrow? I just read about it in the Guardian. It is a fascinating experiment. I am not sure how much is down to the shoe and how much all the other variables they have tried to control - like being on Formula 1 track with ability to change pacemakers regularly, hand them refreshments from a motorbike, and minimal bends.

Quite a bit of discussion on the Elite Athletics thread: http://www.fetcheveryone.com/forum__35959__503__elite_athletics_thread

Starts scheduled for 4:45 am though. That's a bit early on a Saturday for me!

Thanks for that! I've never been on the Elite Athletics thread, assuming that it was for Elite Athletes :) I shall pop over.

Got something to say?
