I think my highlight is getting an unexpected marathon PB in Liverpool . Also I am strangely proud of completing 8 laps of my local pond with temperatures reaching 30c - a marathon PW

Wow wee - this rain is making the off road routes good fun - 10k run this am - it was so muddy, slippy and with waterlogged fields - all in the dark with headtorch - nice

Ugh, very squelchy! Last week I tried running in the middle of the park with a puppy and came very close to losing my shoes.

Hello 1500ers, and Merry Christmas! (Yes, I know the day is nearly over...) Not been on here much after a hectic time in work, and needing a few days to chill out and not being on line that much. Bit late for the highlights of 2019 but... guess it’s a bit difficult for me to pick, as I’ve had a few niggles, and my running hasn’t been great this year, but I’ve still been lucky enough to do some great races. The Midnight Sun marathon in Tromsø was a highlight as an experience (although not so much the running side of it), and the Whistlestop Tour of Wirral was really great fun - 3 days of running in an area unfamiliar to us so seeing lots of new sights and meeting lots of fab, friendly local runners. |

Doc - we don’t, as I’ve been rubbish as usual and haven’t sent the instructions to next year’s thread admin yet (sorry, yet again everyone, for having done such an awful job as thread admin this year - I would put it down to being busy and stressed at work, but to be honest I’m just rubbish and disorganised at everything). I’ll do that tomorrow (possibly in the afternoon as have a race in the morning). Sorry again everyone, I know I should have done this before now, and sorry for causing a delay in the 2020 thread being created.
