Oscar's Everyone Day
Sunday 22nd June 2025In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".
Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

Started running in January to assist in stopping smoking and got the bug. No smoking since March 2009 and feeling great.
Completed first 10k race in July 2009 and have three more races entered including Robin Hood HM. I'm not very fast but can keep a decent pace. (Pulled out of Half Marathon as had dodgy knee) Completed Clumber park 10 k recently too. As well as the running i'm a keen rider and compete mainly in dressage competitions on a regular basis so get plenty of cross training in. Sub 55min 10k done. (27/09/09) New 10k PB 52.29. (11/10/2009) Another new 10k PB of 49.34 (april 2010) New 10K PB 8th Jan 2012 45m44s Caught the triathlon bug now! Completed three this year (July) so far and two more planned! |
