Marathon simulation Got up and at 6 am had 1 1/2 bagel with jam. Got to Battersea at 8:15 and ran 5.5 miles easy to warm up( quite literally! ) really cold conditions 0-2c. Change to vaporflys and long sleeves and headed to the start. Aim was to run at goal Mp (6:30-35m/m). Felt quite comfortable breathing wise and a bit tired on legs as little sleep and quite big day the day prior working from 7 am and stayed out for Glow walk at Olympic park till late. 6 weeks to London fitness can still increase and with a good taper and race adrenaline I think 2:52-2:53 is in the cards. Maybe a good idea to get to half point 1:26 high or 1:27 low and then try to bring it home from there.
