Oscar's Everyone Day

In 2021 Oscar the Grouch proposed one day each year where "we unite as a community and EVERYONE records an activity of some sort - a dog walk, a run, a swim, a ride, ski if you want...".

Sadly we lost Oscar in March 2024, so now we dedicate Everyone Day to him. Thank you for the inspiration you gave us Oscar.

About this parkrun

Two laps and a very small extra bit around the Loch in the middle of Stirling Uni campus. On tarmac and hard packed trail. Wear your road shoes but not racing flats. Last 50 m are on grass. Paths are a bit narrow in places so can be a bit of a choke.

Nice two lapper. Very flat with uphill finish. Very, very tight in places. Position yourself well if you're looking for a time.

Lovely scenic route with plenty of wildlife to see.

2 and a bit laps of the loch, mostly flat but a few little ups and downs, uphill finish, mixture of trail and tarmac.

Lovely location, great parking, toilets, cafe, sports centre on campus. 2 laps on tarmac, slight inclines, slightly cruel uphill finish! :-) G

Two loops of the loch with a steep short out and back ramp in the middle.

Lovely location - very scenic. Undulating course, 2 laps round the lake. Lots of parking, cafe and toilets near the start in the sports building. It’s a popular one.
