hammerite went off quicker than planned. Hoped to do 8 min miles and just hold on for as long as possible. Windy, raining and quite hilly (982ft of ascent!). Luckily the quicker early pace didn't affect me too much and I got round OK quiker than 8 mins miles, very happy. Good race highly recommended.

Two Towels. My first ever attempt at a 30k race Stamford. What a tough course i was farely pleased has had pre race set myself a target of 2 hours 50 mins so 5 mins 25 secs under that. Set myself a target of 5min 28 secs kilometeres and averaged 5 mins 29 secs per kilometre garmin i borrowed helped me achieve that be glad when i get my new shiny one later this feb.
