Dochart A dry and mild day for this one, starting just off the A4 between Chippenham and Bath. Parking, changing and showers were available a short distance from the start and finish. Nice to meet James1982a in a smart black and red fetch top at the start. The route, which is well described on the Chippenham Harriers website, is mostly on green lanes and paths around the By brook and is very scenic. It's undulating with plenty of mud and includes 3 steep hills and a river crossing, where I came a bit of a cropper slithering down the bank into brambles arse-first. Without knowing the routes I'm finding these races difficult to judge pace-wise, and I still had something left in the tank at the finish. 114/355 Stragglers 1:01:40 1:15:29 1:15:29 55.83
