Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

abdou First PB of the year, and better than I expected when the alarm went off. Nice, friendly race and pretty well-organised, although I was glad to be towards the front for the daft one-lane bottleneck near the Olympic building site. Oh, and well done to Grash for finishing 2nd FS - lend us a fiver :)

Roobarb Gotta do this as its literally on my doorstep - runs right past my door :) NO BETS PLEASE. ****EDIT**** Thought this race was really well organised but spoilt by the very narrow path leading on/off the Greenway. I am sure there is a better way to do this............ or hopefully by next year that part will be wider if they run the same route again :)

Sting Ray Good race to do.
But I was disappointed by the need to bottle neck everyone down to single file just to run past the unfinished Olympic Stadium.

SUPERWOMAN63 I WILL RUN the BEST l CAN !!!
Sorry to those that had a flutter on me, l did run as well as l could, however l was really glad l got round the course safely, last night l was in a lot of stomach pain and wasn't even sure l was going to be running. The start was excellent, bottleneck was a nuisance but generally it wasn't a bad race by 2012 this will be a race worth doing l'm sure they will tweak it a bit.

tazzzman Did not have the best of build as have not been feeling to great but ran anyway. Glad I did as although I felt pretty uncomfortable the whole race I managed to smash my PB. The training I have put in the past few months is paying off. The waether was colder than I thoght it was going to be but soon warmed up. It was actuially quite a tough course. Look forward to next years event. I would give this 7 out of 10 as it is the first running of the event.
