Cazros I've not been training too hard over the past few weeks, so only had a vague sub-8 minute mile goal in mind. Just managed that (had a dreadful stich in mile 7, which slowed me down a fair bit) but now wished i'd pushed a bit harder - came way higher up the rankings than expected. I know there were fewer runners than at the April showing, but it's enough to keep me at the 8 rather than 16 mile distance to see if I can get higher! McGoohan Not sure I'll be doing this yet. Got to see if I can a) get this past my wife & b) get my entry in before cut-off. *UPDATE* Well, I got there alright (had to get up at 4:40 am) and apart from mucking up a bit at water stations, (energy drinks - bleargh) I ran a pretty good race (for me). Slightly sub 8m/m across the whole thing which is a bit of a first for me over such a distance. Also met some more Fetchies.
