Merry Christmas & Happy New G(rrr)
Good to hear they worked for you Gus. I've heard folk saying they are no use - either don't grip or then fall apart. But they would def be more usable on tarmac than the big ol Kahtoolas, which are impossible to use on anything less than a couple cm of complete cover of ice or snow. Well done everyone for getting out there.

Some fab pics of running in the snow in our local hills from club mates. Unfortunately I'm not running at the mo so missing out. :-) G

decorum
Based on comments here, I bought some yaktrax pro thingies ~ 'cus the last lot of snow really was, to my psyche, a no-go in my road shoes ...

So I was really chuffed to see that the snow had settled overnight. And lots lets chuffed to find that it was slop, not compactable snow I needed for the yaks :-( . But by early afternoon it had melted away quite well, and I ran anyway :-)

(I am now on the search for trail shoes (I'm a big lad) which can be pressed into occasional use for frost and lightly iced paths and roads ... :-) )
