thanks mattglen_, as you can probably see from my slow response I'm not hanging around on here much at the moment (still injured and grumpy). If the offer still stands then I will see about getting the Thread upkeep assigned over to you.

Otherwise, I'm happy to take over the sidebar! So, virtual NYC Marathon completed in the almost as exciting venue of Caldecotte Lake, Milton Keynes. Thanks Foxy for standing out on lakeside waiting for me. The run has uploaded to Already spent the Hilton points holding hotel space for five days. |

Yesterday I set up an Abbott World Marathon Majors account. It automatically picked up my Berlin 2019 time, but didn't pick up London 2010 or London 2017, but I followed their 'Claim Stars' process (supplying ID and finish certificate) and 2017 has been added now, less than 24hrs after I contacted them. It was slightly more tricky for London 2010 as the London race website only has results back to 2014 but I emailed London and they emailed me back with my result, saying that Abbot would take the email as proof. I've sent the email off to Abbott, although I don't necessarily need it now I have 2017's London result in my profile. I thought I may as well get the account set up and sorted, just in case I ever get closer to the 6 stars, which is my aim |

WMM had my London and Berlin results, but for some reason had linked my Chicago result to a different account. A quick email fixed it. They're very good at that. Now I've seen the cost of a tour package to Boston, I'm trying to work out just how much work I'll have to do to get a BQ time... |

DeeGee, that was my thought process regarding Boston and Chicago. In case I don't get back down to the BQ time again I thought I should 'use it or lose it', as the packages are expensive. My 2022 Seville marathon time wasn't quick enough for New York, but I like to think I may be able to qualify via the half marathon route if/when I get back into some kind of shape.... We shall see how all that goes.

£200 for a medal - I might sell mine at that price.

Abbott just contacted me to say my London 2010 time has also been validated via the email London sent me as proof I had done that race, so I can't complain about that turnaround time.
