Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Well done on your purchase, ER. I just bought a Dyson Animal (not for pets but for my daughter's hair). I still had to pay £246 even with a sizable discount.

I bet the village would make a killing if they charged for photos to be taken in that spot :-)

[I need to find another body part for my Dyson after a large crack has appeared. But it won't be £199!]

I had one previously when we had a cat and then changed the model after it packed up after we lost the cat. I was forever having to remove hair from the roller and the Animal seems to work as well with human hair.

The new “toy” has just arrived and seems to work as advertised. Ours is a Shark, and of a similar but several years newer version to our previous Shark. We looked at the Dyson (ball) but it seemed quite bulky and heavy compared to the Shark.
I was very impressed that there was no plastic at all in the packaging. All of the accessories and various parts were wrapped in paper bags and bulked out in cardboard, so full marks to them for that.
(Although the bulk of the vacuum cleaner is of course plastic, but I can repurpose most of the old machine).
