Local fish and chip shop owner posts video 'celebrating' with champagne the fact the 'Lizard Liz is Dead' and a crowd gathered at her chip shop egged her and the police had to rescue her. What a flippin' idiot.

[Not just an idiot but a very insensitive one - how would she feel if her own mother's death had been greeted like that? You can be as republican as you like, but to behave like that on the death of *anyone* - is deeply unpleasant. ]

Just to be clear I’m smiling because the community felt so strongly they came together in an angry mob to give her what for. Lots of talk of boycotting her business too. (I don’t condone the threats to put her windows in though  )

[I'm a commited republican but I don't celebrate her demise. Whatever I think about the role itself, she performed it with excellence and I respect that this is the end of an era and she meant a lot to peoppe. But I can't bear the public outpourings of "grief" either as though their own ma died, except they do it in public. Try to show at least as much dignity as she did when Philip died.]
