people who don't appear able to walk down a street without feeling the need to talk to someone on the phone - which seems to be just about everyone (except me) nowadays

Drivers who stop miles behind the car in front at traffic lights, then even worse if they creep forward several times. There is no reason for such behaviour and I find it irrationally enraging!

Oddly Fleecers, if everyone stopped 1 car length away from the car in front, then more would get through per turn of the lights. Reason is we now all go bumper to bumper, so the car behind can only start accelerating once the one in front has moved.
With 1 car length between, soon as the lights go red every car can start accelerating up to speed, hence get faster quicker and more get through. You'll just have to fume....

People on trains who spread aggressively into the next seat in the hope it will put other people off from asking them to move their stuff to sit there, then look as if they've been asked to eat a turd when someone does ask....
(....frankly I make a point of homing in on these people as a matter of principle, just to hack them off. They hate it even more when they know there are other full empty seats about, yet you are asking for the one next to them....)

TRO: if everyone did that at the junctions I'm thinking of the whole queue would tail back to the next junction...And the creeping forward business means it's not relevant anyway!

Sorry Fleecy! I might be guilty of that although it's because in my head I'm driving a tank, not a micra, and so need all that space. Then I realise that actually, it's just a bloody micra and creep forward to close the gap.
