Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The loo seat in my BF's en-suite regularly comes off its hinges and neither of us are heavy. That grinds my gears, when I have to perch tentatively ... and also having to fiddle around and try to fix it.

I s'pose a positive way of looking at it, is that it works my quads and glutes.

[We always have Christmas pudding on Easter Day. It's a tradition that I started years ago I think because I always made more puddings than were needed at Christmas so I kept the spare for Easter, with it being the next significant festival.]

[GM, Christmas Puddings made in October half term and consumed on the following dates: Dad's birthday at end of November, Christmas Day, Brother's birthday end of January, Easter Sunday, Mum's birthday in August. Then when Mum started sending fewer to other family members, the batch just got made larger and lasted a few years instead....given the amount of alcohol that went into each batch, by the time a pudding had matured for two or three years, they were lethal. Wisely we never had a tradition of setting fire to the pudding :-) )

[it was...I can still eat *good* Christmas pudding whenever. One year mum decided to put the spares in the attic for some reason - maybe to keep them cool? - and forgot. They were discovered about five years later and were matured to perfection *hic*]
