I'm not so sure and that is a sad reflection on our society.

I'd like to think that some recognition will come their way. On the subject of SPOTY, Gazza won the award after blubbering at Italia 90. Now let's see if Laura Bassett gets shortlisted as her performance on the pitch throughout the tournament was generally outstanding.
