Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

The cashpoint machine down the road. It states "Accepts all bank cards" but mine is "not supported by this ATM".

News reports showing Americans digging their way through dreadful snow, then a weather report that warns that there may be 6 inches of snow in the Scottish Highlands in January.

Me at the moment.
Missed out on a long run on the snow covered moors with friends 'cos my car couldn't get up the hill to the meeting point. Everyone else managed it, it would seem.
I have spiralled into 'self destruct' mode attempting to console myself with pizza and Haribo which has just made me feel worse.

Not currently in control, apparently. There was no need for any of it!

Wind farms and solar farms being referred to as farms when they're ruining good agricultural land that could be used for growing or grazing.

Actually, just wind and solar farms, full stop.

Solar Farms effectively stop the agricultural activity; wind farms don't.
