Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

And I'm pretty sure the individual Freddo bars are smaller now, too!

Postie delivering package to where I’m house-sitting; for someone in the next suburb. 40 min round trip in sweltering heat.

Car drivers - why accelerate when the pedestrian light is changing to red when you can see the traffic is queuing just the other side of the crossing?

I don't have too much of an issue with taking in packages for neighbours. Except when the driver has barely rung their bell and then rings mine just because they hadn't answered instantly.

The most annoying one I've had was when I was wallpapering up a ladder at the top of the stairs. There was a lot of loud bangs on the door and my bell rung frantically. I had to drop everything, thinking that it was an emergency, only to get a delivery driver asking me to take in a package. At that moment, I was far from being the happy, helpful neighbour.
